It is getting hot again, today already over 29 °C, tommorrow it is forecasted 33 °C. I went for a short walk at noon, when there was some cloud cover, but couldn't take the heat for long.
Beside a small pond a female Brown Hawker was laying eggs. It was fearless of me, so I took dozens of photographs, approaching with the LX3 as close as 3 cm to the dragonfly. This is one of the most common ones in Finland, and looks really grand.

I like image #2. Great shot!

Well, I must thank the Brown Hawker for its graciousness.
ReplyDeleteI returned to the pond today and didn't have such luck again.
Juha,
ReplyDeleteIt happens all the time. You return for another shot or a better one and the thing is just not there or the atmosphere is different. That’s what makes a particular moment unique. You got it done right, no need to return.

Indeed - but sometimes you return just in case...
