I attended today a seminar at Långvik, which is a conference center in Kirkkonummi, west of Helsinki. This was my first time there, a nice place, but maybe best when there is light to see the surroundings when going for a walk. Anyway, I made a short walk outside after sunset, during a break in the program, and took some photographs in the dark.
I like the natural feel in your photos. Do you use standart settings or did you change something (WB, contrast, etc.) ?

I think regarding noise/low light, the cam is pretty good.

@Hagen: All of these were taken using AWB on the LX5. It usually works well. Sometimes I have tried to fix the WB in Aperture but there results may not be pretty.

Good images but definitely on the surreal side for me: the weather here in Adelaide (Australia) is warming up. Today was 39C but fortunately it's going to drop to the mid-thirties for the next 5 days.

@Art: Yes, I do hope others are soon following suit. Or even better, using a big SQUARE sensor.
ReplyDelete@Sven: The lens is a bit slow, especially in the tele end, but the biggest drawback for me is not having 24 mm at the wide end.
