As with the LX5 (and with the LX3), I don't like the default settings, the green is rather unrealistic (oversaturated), but using the nostalgic film mode and tweaking it a bit works well for me.Juha Haatajahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00361255734892508254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3500144491563926221.post-44258089877082220012013-05-28T11:45:32.688+03:002013-05-28T11:45:32.688+03:00Interesting about the LX3 firmware and the colour ...Interesting about the LX3 firmware and the colour rendition.

I guess it's the same for the LX5?

Do you know what the colour rendition on the LX7 is like?

Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04881509432705597309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3500144491563926221.post-57427527709565228512013-05-22T19:34:11.125+03:002013-05-22T19:34:11.125+03:00David, "Olympus color" is sometimes ment...David, "Olympus color" is sometimes mentioned as praise, and a camera with wrong kind of color rendition surely is not pleasant to use. With the LX3 I struggled in the beginning to find the right settings but with later firmware updates it performed very well indeed.
