This is a combination of western/eastern traditions (Swedish/Russian, pagan/Orthodox), but recently it has been taken over by dresses taken from Halloween. At least for you it is seasonally correct but for us it's Spring coming into Summer so we can't even predend it makes sense in that respect. Though I doubt anyone here knows what this feast signifies. Ask anyone here and you get answers about witches and zombies and pumpkins.
