Why the Panasonic LX3 is great

Probably the most expected review of the LX3 is now here - Dpreview has a 18-page in-depth review. I'm not going to reveal the final grade here, but instead quote a bit: "The LX3 is an example of a species so endangered that the we were beginning to worry it had become extinct - a compact camera that photographers can get excited about. [...] it's a camera that encourages you to play, to experiment, to take photographs and one that rewards you for doing so."

I quite agree. The camera delivers rich rewards in experimenting. You fail often, but sometimes you win, and all the time you learn. I can sincerely recommend the camera for all photography enthuasists.
