The photographs were taken in Nuuksio by lake Sammalkuoho on December 6th. I explored the landscape south of lake Suolikas with my daughter, and we got even a bit lost, which felt fine.

I have been walking quite a lot this week, about 1 1/2 hours each day. It it great that there is snow on the ground, so it isn't so dark, but due to the temperature hovering around 0 °C the paths and roads are slippery with ice, so one need to take care when walking.

The landscape is now quite different to what it was a month ago. We have snow, and even though some of it is melting away due to the temperature creeping above 0 °C, 9 cm of snow still remains. I walked for two hours today, rather slowly due to ice on the roads and paths.
