The photographs were taken on April 16th in the north parts of Luukki.
This morning I walked for two hours at lake Myllyjärvi, south of Luukki. There is a lot of dust and pollen in the air, because of the dry and warm weather, and I'm getting symptoms of sneeze and snot.

The photographs were taken in Luukki on April 10th.
This morning I walked for over three hours in Nuuksio, starting from the parking place at lake Haukkalampi. There were only half a dozen cars at the parking place when I arrived at 7:30 AM, much less than I expected.
I visited twelve lakes during my walk, two of them twice. On three lakes there was a pair of Gavia stellata nesting. This spring I have seen already five different pairs of the birds, on five different lakes. Last year I saw four pairs of birds nesting, and a gathering of the birds in autumn when they were preparing to leave.
When I left home, the temperature was +11 °C, but in Nuuksio it was +7 °C. And when I left Nuuksio, the temperature was +16 °C, and when I arrived at home, it was +20 °C. So, it is rather cool in Nuuksio.
In five days I have got almost 11 hours of exercise. For some reason I'm not feeling tired.

The photographs were taken in Luukki on January 9th. It was rather cold then.
We got some more snow today, and it didn't melt away. It looks like winter once again. I'm planning to commute by bicycle tomorrow.

On February 28th I walked along river Lakistonjoki in Luukki. It was a warm day, but there was still quite a lot of snow left. The river was full because of melting snow.
Yesterday morning, while still half-asleep, I got thinking about Sipoonkorpi National Park, which I haven't visited for quite some time. Maybe my subconscious was trying to tell something?

It has been raining a bit since yesterday, and the temperature is at +1 °C, so the remaining snow is compacting and soaking up water. The forecast promises -10 °C for tomorrow, which would mean that the snow freezes, and could even carry a walking person. That would be nice, walking on the frozen snow, it would feel like spring.
These photographs were taken on January 24th in Luukki, walking around lake Vääräjärvi, following a river west of the lake. And I just realized that the river has a name: Lakistonjoki.
