Knowing there’s nothing that I can do

I have got 12 1/2 hours of exercise this week, half of it riding the bicycle, half walking in forests and swamps. It is a great time to be outdoors. Exploring previously unknown territory in Sipoonkorpi was the best thing; I may return there some day soon.

These photographs were taken on May 12th, while going to a concert.

Where do you want my heart now?

I listened to some guitar music earlier this week.

Awaken the guitar and we might sense the unknown

The second youngest daughter is interested in learning to play the guitar. Today I walked past a shop selling all kinds of music instruments. I'm not sure what kind of acoustic guitar is the best for learning (are there different sizes for children?), but that should clear up when the lessons start in autumn.

We had quite a show of clouds today, but no heavy rain. And tomorrow should be a fine day for commuting by bicycle.
