No one believes it is happening now

This morning I walked for two hours in Vaakkoi, finding new places. The ground is frozen, so it is easy to walk long distances even through areas where there are no paths.

The photographs were taken in Vaakkoi on December 12th. I'll continue the exploration next year.

Was too much for my primitive

The photographs were taken on December 12th at Vaakkoi.

This morning I visited Oittaa once again. It is a nice place for taking a walk, except for the noise that comes from the big roads to the south and to the east. Of course, when one walks for some distance towards Nuuksio the noise goes down. I took yet another route, and found new things to explore later.

Last night we had -10 °C, in the morning -4 °C, and now 0 °C. I was getting used to the cold, and now I must adapt to warmer weather. In three days I have got seven hours of exercise.

Don’t just do something. Stand there.

The photographs were taken on December 12th at Vaakkoi.

This morning it was cold, -10 °C, and I walked for two hours at Oittaa, south of lake Bodom. Half of an hour before sunrise there were plenty of fascinating colors to observe at the frozen lake. I'm getting used to the coldness, the fingers are no longer feeling as cold as they were in the beginning of the cold weather.

My point is that the line is fraudulent

The photographs were taken on December 7th, while traveling to Jyväskylä.

This morning I walked for three hours, starting from Oittaa, going first to lake Sorlampi and then circling back through Hakjärvimossen swamp. It was -9 °C when I started, half an hour before sunrise, and -4 °C when I returned. There is 1/2 cm of snow on the ground, lightening the landscape.

Like why and why and also why

December 6th is Finland's Independence Day. I went for a walk in the afternoon when it was already quite dark.

The saddest music keeps the sweetest time

This morning I walked for almost three hours, starting from Oittaa, going to Brobacka, and returning via another route. In six days I have got 13 hours of exercise.

The photographs were taken on December 5th at Meiko.

I’m here and your eyes lucky

On November 30th I visited Kytäjä-Usmi outdoor area, walking north from the parking place at lake Piilolammi. These photographs were taken at Piilonsuo swamp ("hideout swamp") north of the lake, which is being converted to its natural state by blocking the ditches and felling trees. It was flooded because of rain. The were some warning signs to be careful when walking at the swamp.

Mystery evades me. Shadows crumble.

The length of day is now 5 h 46 min. The sunrise was a couple of minutes ago. They are promising sunny weather for today.

The photographs were taken on November 29th at lake Suolikas in Nuuksio.

In the dusk of dawn

These photographs were taken at lake Suolikas in Nuuksio on November 29th, early in the morning, though early is rather late this time of the year.

In three days I have got 7 1/2 hours of exercise, exploring the nearby parts of Nuuksio. I have started walking well before sunrise, and returned before noon. Today I visited Pirttimäki. Not a bad way to start the day.

I realize I have chosen something

The photographs were taken in Nuuksio on November 29th, before sunrise, near lake Saarijärvi.

Today I walked for 2 1/2 hours, starting from lake Myllyjärvi near Pirttimäki, and going north towards Luukki. It was quiet, and I didn't see anyone else, except for a dog near the parking place.
