The photographs were taken on September 10th while I visited Hatanpää Arboretum in Tampere.
I have taken quite a lot of photographs this weekend as well. Autumn colors are prominent, and there is a lot of variety in the landscape. And lots of details to explore with a camera.

The photographs were taken at Hyde Park in London on August 3rd.
Today on the way home cars were stuck on the road for 1 1/2 kilometers, because of an accident. I rode the bicycle past the traffic jam, enjoying backwind.

The photographs were taken at Dutch garden in London's Holland Park on August 2nd.
This morning I walked two hours at Tremanskärr, going across swamps. There were no deer fly. I tasted raspberries and lingonberries. The cranberries are not yet ripe.
While walking I did a little bit of thinking about Trump. The United States doesn't have a president after Obama, just a creature that can simulate a human being for a short while if he is tightly controlled and scripted.

This morning I walked for over two hours in the forests and swamps near Myllyjärvi lake, south of Luukki. There were no moose flies which was a pleasant surprise.

The photographs were taken on June 16th while visiting Rhododendron park at Haaga in Helsinki.
This morning I rode the bicycle for over 1 1/2 hours, riding through Seutula along a route I found last summer. The bicycle was quiet, quite a change from the noise it made before the repairs.
I have been following what happens with the Trump kakistocracy. What makes me wonder are the people in the United States who call themselves "patriots" but are ready to do great harm to the country and to the people. Destroying education and health care are just a few examples of this.

The photograph was taken in Helsinki on March 1st.
This morning I walked for two hours, exploring Timmermalmi nature protection area. I saw half a dozen swans flying, and listened to birds singing.

Yesterday we visited Träskända Manor Park in Espoo, a beautiful but nowadays a bit neglected park with a long history. Here are some photographs taken there. It was hot, but there was some wind in the park, and the old trees provided plenty of shadow.
Here are three photographs taken today. It was wet once again, thickly clouded. Fortunately autumn leaf colors provide some refreshment for the eyes.
Today we had a clear winter night with a crescent moon providing some additional light. I took a few photos in the park nearby, and later realized how very different the same subject can made to look.
In the dark photo the trees are directly lighted by the moon, but the exposure is much shorter than in the second photo, where we look mostly at the "shadow side" of the trees. This was a revelation to me.
The color balance was surprisingly quite good. In the dark photo I did remove a slight yellow color cast, but for the second one I didn't do any changes to the jpeg from the LX3.
I write book reviews in Finnish in the Valopolku blog.
