What did I see to be except myself?

It has been over a week since I last went for a walk in forests and swamps. But I have a lot of photographs from earlier exploration. These swamp photographs were taken at Ketunkorpi in Luukki on June 30th.

Just that, no drama, and it was so cold

These photographs were taken in Luukki on March 1st.

They make no secret of themselves

On March 1st I walked for more than two hours in Luukki, going north to Ketunkorpi, then west to Pyykorpi, and from there south to Hauklampi and from there back to the parking lot. The temperature had dropped below 0 °C during the night, so the remaining snow was frozen hard, but not much of it was left. The paths were slippery due to ice, but outside of the paths it was rather easy to walk.

While the one eludes, must the other pursue

Today I went for a long walk in the Luukki forests, north of lake Myllyjärvi, in the Ketunkorpi hills and swamps. I have been there once before, this time I knew some of the landscape and orienteering was easier, but still this is a place where it is very easy to get lost, as there are few paths and those wander here and there without clear direction. The day started sunny, but then there we clouds, and during evening it started to rain. But tomorrow we should have a sunny day once again.
