And the sleeping man leaps up in pained surprise

The photographs were taken on March 3rd in Petikko.

Today the road was mostly clear of snow and ice, and mostly dry as well. The were some deep puddles with hidden ice ridges, but they didn't much hinder riding the bicycle.

Feel that flexible wind on your face

The photographs were taken on March 3rd in Petikko.

It is snowing today, and something like 10-15 cm of snow is to be expected. On Wednesday the weather should start warming up, so I guess this is a temporary setback in the progress of spring.

Who sang out of their windows in despair

The photograph was taken on February 28th.

This morning I walked for two hours in Nuuksio, walking across the Soidinsuo swamp and visiting lakes Ympyrkäinenlampi, Holma-Saarijärvi and Kolmoislammit. There was fog at the swamp, smoothing the landscape.
