My tenuous landscape is nothing but layer upon layer of paper

I walked today around three lakes in Luukki. This is becoming my favorite route for a walk in a forest, going around lakes Väärälampi, Mustlampi and Halkolampi. There isn't much snow left, but the lakes are flooding, so in some places one needs to circle a bit to find a place where to cross the water.

It was sunny and warm, +13 °C, an excellent spring day.

My feet are the primitives here

It is good to go out walking with the chilren. Today we went to the Luukki forests, and walked around lake Kaitalampi, which is long but narrow. It took us almost two hours, as there was so much to explore.

The children discover all kinds of things. Such as that there was a small cave under the roots of a tree at the shore, and when you made waves in the water, there was a funny sound coming from below ground when the waves hit the cave.

There is a little snow still left in some places, but it is mostly gone now. And even more gone, as they predict +13 °C temperature for tomorrow, up five degrees from today.

With showers and dewdrops wet

We got a lot of rain today, and wind, which means that the last remaining snow will (mostly) disappear. It is spring.
