The sunlight was not our concern

The photographs were taken at Vaakkoi on October 19th.

The weather is warming up. In the morning we had -8 °C, for the afternoon the forecast promises -2 °C. I went for a walk and took photographs of the snowy landscape.

For the next week the forecast promises even warmer weather, up to +5 °C, and some rain. It won't be especially pleasant for commuting by bicycle, but I'll try anyway. So far this year I have got 5793 km riding the bicycle.

Of all the sunbeams that did ever shine

The photographs were taken on October 19th at Vaakkoi.

It was cold this morning, -13 °C. I commuted by bicycle. The road conditions were a bit better than yesterday, but the commute took over an hour both in the morning and afternoon. In many places there was ice on the road, and snow on top of ice. The studded winter tires are great.
