Photographs from Finland.
The photographs were taken on July 25th at Haltiala in Helsinki.
(Posting title is from the poem What Is the Field? by Leila Wilson.)
I love this pair of images for the conflict it quietly documents. It's just up to the sensibility of the viewer to recognize.
Thanks! This Haltiala place is rather interesting during summer, and there is one day each week when dozens of people riding motorcycles gather by the fields to meet and eat. Not my piece of cake, though.
