The depth of snow is here in Vantaa now 62 cm. It goes a bit up and down, depending on the temperature and fresh snowfall. If the temperature rises, the fluffy snow gets compacted and the snow depth decreases. Also, the amount of snow decreases due to evaporation. But we are also getting fresh snow every couple of days, so the trends is still upwards. We might get some kind of record this winter, but that still depends on the rest of the winter.
My interest in new camera gear is waning at the moment, although I have looked at the specs of the Olympus E-PL1. If there are no serious design problems with this one, I might leap into the Olympus camp some day. But not quite yet.
