We got some rain this evening, and afterwards I went out with the LX100, to see how spring is advancing and to take some photographs. It seems that even half a day changes things. Bird cherry is already in bloom, or at least the some bird cherry trees are.
I took a lot of photographs, with my eye glued to the EVF. I'm using a CPL filter, to try something new, and that combined with the generous amount of shallow DOF blur possible with the LX100 makes me both keen on taking photographs, and also somewhat wary, as this is a style of photography I'm not really cherishing, it feels a bit like cheating.
These photographs were taken on May 3rd.
