Once again, I'm perplexed with a species. These blue-ish flowers appear in "Auroras park" in Espoo. We are thinking whether these would be possible to have in our own garden. But first we need to know what they are.

My wife says she thinks it's an Agapanthus. Sorry, spelt it wrong first time :-)
Thanks!
Doesn't seem to be easy to grow here in Finland, as it doesn't tolerate our winter.
Is the park near you? If it'll grow in the park, you should be able to grow it in your garden maybe? Perhaps with a bit of shelter!
The park is a few kilometers from here. The park belongs to the city of Espoo, and I suspect they move the flowers to a cellar or some kind of winter garden for the cold season.
i think this is a flower that only grows in colder regions, we live in hot region and i have never seem such delicate and small flower, heat will kill them within no time
@Henna: Unfortunately, the opposite is true.
Sometimes this flower is called "Lily of the Nile", referring to quite a hot climate.
We were quite keen on getting this to our garden until we understood that you need special indoor facilities to store the plants during winter here in Finland. We prefer native plants in the garden.
