I has been hot, 26 to 28 °C. Today we went twice swimming with the daughters, and that helped. Late in the afternoon we got some unanticipated rain, and that helped even more. Next few days, it is forecasted that dry 26 to 27 °C weather will continue. It starts to be a bit tiring.
DC Resource has published their review of the Sony NEX-5 mirrorless camera. The review mirrors (ahem) previous reviews: "Ultimately, I grew to have a love-hate relationship with the NEX-5. It's an extremely capable camera, held back by a user interface that drove me (and nearly all other reviewers) nuts. I love the NEX's photo quality, live view implementation, the Auto HDR and Sweep Panorama features, and the Full HD movie mode, but users shouldn't have to jump through hoops to enjoy them."
Thus, the NEX-5 is a good camera shot down by an awful user interface.
And speaking of cameras, there are new rumours about the Panasonic LX5, successor to the LX3. Might this be the ultimate pocketable serious camera?
