Today I went with my oldest daughter to lake Kaitalampi at Luukki, walking along the west side, crossing the lake across the ice, and returning along the east side. It was late, at sunset, and not many people were at the lake. But there were a lot tracks left by people walking and skiing on the ice.
The snow didn't carry a walking person if you didn't have snow shoes, and there was water under the snow, left on top of the ice by the warm weather we had a few days ago. But even though walking was a bit hard in places, it was nice to be out there.
