These are the wets

Today I went with my oldest daughter to lake Kaitalampi at Luukki, walking along the west side, crossing the lake across the ice, and returning along the east side. It was late, at sunset, and not many people were at the lake. But there were a lot tracks left by people walking and skiing on the ice.

The snow didn't carry a walking person if you didn't have snow shoes, and there was water under the snow, left on top of the ice by the warm weather we had a few days ago. But even though walking was a bit hard in places, it was nice to be out there.

(Posting title is from the poem Susie Asado by Gertrude Stein.)

Really nice compositions. Lovely colour in the sky. Love the icicle picture!

Thanks, Tony. There wasn't much color, because of thick clouds, but the subtle colors were enjoyable anyway.

We saw a glimpse of the sun today, but the weather forecast promises clouds for the next five days. Well, at least the length of day is now over 8 hours, so it isn't quite so dark anymore.
