Now that I know that most falsehoods are true

I commuted by bicycle today, but the front rim got a dent from a bump on the road. I had to move one of the brake pads lower to get the wheel run smoothly again, but that was just a temporary fix to get back home with the bicycle. I need to have the rim replaced with a new one. Well, maybe I'll change studded winter tires to the bicycle at the same time, as it probably won't be long until the roads get slippery with ice and snow.

The photographs were taken on November 3rd, which was a foggy day.

(Posting title is from the poem The Foggy, Foggy Blue by Delmore Schwartz.)

"Leaf" is extraordinary fine, and it is not easy in such a series to stand out.

Thanks, Markus. What autumn color still lingers brightens the day, but all that is soon gone...
