Although green lands consume

Here you see Tromsø and the surrounding islands and mountains from mount Storsteinen, which we visited on July 18th. We walked on the mount, checking out a place where there was still some snow remaining.

Yesterday I rode the bicycle for 1 1/2 hours. Today is promising to be a hot day, up to +30 °C. There might be swimming in the program.

(Posting title is from the poem The Mount by Léonie Adams.)

Hi Juhaa, Just thought I'd stop by to let you know I'm enjoying the vistas you've been posting from your trip. It's a real joy to be seeing this part of the world. Thanks.

Thanks, Cedric.

I have got hooked on Lapland. Since returning I have borrowed from the library a dozen books about Lapland and related topics such as wilderness trekking. And I have started planning what to do next summer, what places to visit in Lapland etc.
