These photographs were taken in Nuuksio on August 24th, south of lake Saarijärvi. Nuuksio is rather remarkable area, especially because there are so many different lakes. And in fact, a year ago a guy paddled around all the lakes and ponds in Nuuksio, 165 of them. (Here you see some photographs of this, the posting is in Finnish.)
It is starting to be cold, and during the next two days the temperature is dropping below 0 °C during the night. And there is wind from northeast, making the weather feel even colder.
