On August 16th I walked in Nuuksio, starting from the parking place at Siikaranta. This is Soidinsuo swamp, the biggest swamp in Nuuksio, and it is a treasure to explore with a camera.
Yesterday I walked in Tremanskärr swamps. There were some people picking cranberries at the open swamp, but elsewhere I didn't meet anyone. It was wet, and occasionally it rained a bit. Deer fly were absent, perhaps due to the wet weather.
(Posting title is from the poem I Killed a Fly by David Ignatow.)
