Activated in the reader’s senses beyond mere fact

Last week I got 15 hours of exercise, and so far this week 8 hours. I may have been riding the bicycle a bit too hard yesterday and today, as I was quite tired afterwards. On the other hand, I think I am now in better condition than I have been in 25 years or so.

This was an extremely busy work week, but we also got a lot of things done. It feels good.

The photographs were taken in Luukki on May 9th and 10th.

(Posting title is from the poem The Wooden Overcoat by Rick Barot.)

..there is just so much to see!... love the lake series from Monday 18th if I remember correctly.. -and always the flowers.. and the fallen tree.. those roots! and the 'detail' series..

You mention forgetting names of plants/flowers.. but there are so many I just have never known..

I am convinced from my experience as a viewer here though.. To know or memorize the man-made names for God's creations is not necessary for appreciating their mysterious beauty..

although it is certainly helpful when I say, for example "I saw the most beautiful flower"

"Which one?".

well let me go pick it and bring it to you...

-this one. isn't it beautiful."

Blessings!

Thanks!

Spring is advancing rapidly now, one day changes things a lot, not to speak of one week.
