This morning I walked for almost three hours in the forests and swamps at Pirttimäki. I avoided the marked paths, and selected an approximate direction using the sun, and thus I got finally somewhat lost, and it took a while to get back to the parking place. During the night the temperature dropped to 0 °C. There is still a little bit of autumn colors left, but not much.
These photographs were taken south of lake Meiko on September 12th, visiting lake Långträsk and trying to see the sea from the Falkberget hill. Below you see a panorama, but I don't think the sea is to be seen at the horizon.
