The photographs were taken on March 5th at Sipoonkorpi.
Today I walked for 2 1/2 hours at Kytäjä-Usmi outdoor are in Hyvinkää, 45 km north of Helsinki. In Helsinki the temperature has been at +1 °C or warmer for 24 hours, but in Hyvinkää the temperature dropped to just below 0 °C during the night, and today morning the snow was still a little bit frozen, carrying a person walking. I didn't use the existing paths but instead walked across forests, following deer tracks, or just going across unbroken snow.
