Because not one in a million

The photographs were taken at Kaisaniemi botanic garden in Helsinki on November 1st.

This morning I walked for over two hours, enjoying the snowy landscape. The length of day is now 6 hours 19 minutes. I started walking well before sunrise, but because of the snow it didn't feel dark.

I took quite a lot of photographs, trying to adjust to the snowy conditions. Two LX100 batteries got drained, as well as the iPhone SE battery.

I'm flabbergasted at what is happening in the USA. Those in power seems to be keen on destroying themselves.

(Posting title is from the poem The Price is Right: A Torture Wheel of Fortune by Edward Dorn.)

Juha, those in power here in the U.S. seem to be acting in the interest of a special elite, not the society or planet as a whole. Your photos are always interesting.

Thanks!

Well, one can argue that ”special elite” also influences politics in other countries, not just the U.S., but I must admit the recent news seem to be rather extreme.
