We went today for a walk at Luukki, a recreational area with lots of forests and lakes. It was cool but dry, and it didn't start raining until we came out of the forest.
There were lots of things to see, especially flowers. And plenty of bugs. Fortunately, there was some wind which kept mosquitoes mostly in check.
I tried to identify the species of the subjects of these photographs, but didn't quite succeed. The first photograph posed problems until I realized the flower is a cross between Silene dioica and Silene latifolia; it is taller (100 cm) and sturdier than either of these.
A moment of profound silence followed.
