The beauty of ermine moth

The larvae of ermine moths (Yponomeuta evonymellus) demolished the foliage of bird cherry trees early in the summer, and now the adults have come out. They are really beautiful moths, and there are a lot of them in a nearby park. But they are not good news for the bird cherry trees...
