Every once in a while I have a look at my Flickr statistics to see what photographs have interested viewers. Recently I updated the Flickr sets containing top 12 photographs, ranked by most views and by "interestingness". Below are thumbnails of these sets.
There are some surprises, and also some inevitable trends ("lots of color means lots of viewers"). But not much to be learned here. And none of the photographs has received a massive amount of views. Which is just as well, helping to limit the pressure to perform (it tends always to creep in whatever one does).

Juha,
That aeshna grandis shot is excellent.

@Art: It was one of the best things ever - a subject that was completely willing to cooperate.
Juha,
Do you post B&Ws to your Flickr account. If so, what kind of stats do you see for them? I love B&W myself, but I feel it may be a dying form despite the recent resurgence in interest. Seems people prefer vivid colors and not subtle shades...and the more vivid the better.
John
It is rare that b&w gets views - a marginal form I guess...
Juha,
I had the same experience with one a week ago or so. It was also very willing to pose. If you want to see it click on the image that you have on Flickr and then on Art Photon.
Thanks for sharing your image and keep up the beautiful work.
