Far or close 2

Here is once again a case of where to put the focus: far or close? In this case the subject is Viola tricolor. Couldn't make up my mind which is better. What do you think?

definitely, close is better because it focuses attention on the center of the flower. The colors that surround flow away from that crisp focus

Close. This particular flower looks like one of those talking ones from the animated version of Alice in Wonderland. Ah, the memories.
