There were quite a lot of dragonflies at a nearby pond, finding mates and laying eggs. Busy time for them...
Very busy - apparently that's why they were so photogenic. :-)
Actually these are "Damselflies," not Dragonflies... Delightful little critters, eh? Cheers...
@Tinman: There were so many of them, that it was enough to stay in one spot and new ones would come visit all the time.@MichaelinA2: Thanks, yes you are right, I never remember how the naming goes in English. In Finnish "sudenkorennot" refers to all of Odonata.
