Then I went up to town

I haven't had much time for taking photographs, or processing them. Such a busy week, meetings all day through. These photographs are from Monday. The weather has been cold, down to -20 °C at night, about -5 °C during the day. And apparently this will go on for several days more.

(Posting title is from the poem Alone for a Week by Jane Kenyon.)

Lack of times seems not to do much harm to your photography, I'd say. I like the quietness in these images, the muted contrast, the soft colors, all transporting the feeling of a slightly reduced speed and absence of pressure

And besides everything Markus has already mentioned I like the corresponding forms of the rock formation (?) and the car.

Markus and Martina, thanks!

I think these two were the only photographs from Monday that I didn't delete when going through them, I was far from inspired. But in retrospect, I think the camera was pointing in the right direction here...

Martina, I think I finally "get it", the shape of the snow-bound rock and the car. I had no idea why I took the photograph or why I didn't delete it among the others, I just felt there was something...
