I went for a walk at Tremanskärr forests and swamps today. At first there were no deer fly, but when I got deeper into the swamps, they started to appear, sticking to hair and crawling under the shirt, though not so numerously as to really bother. I got about ten of them during the walk, and four more when driving home, and one at home.
The photograph was taken in Vaakkoi on August 8th. I saw a lot of possibilities for photographs during the walk, as the autumn colors are starting to appear, but didn't take any. I'm still pondering what camera to buy, if any.
