When you bring the instrument to your chin

Today I went for a walk in Vaakkoi, exploring the forests and swamps north of lake Tuhkuri and lake Väärä-Musta. I have walked there before, but not often. The sun appeared between the clouds, and I was happy. I have got seven hours of exercise so far this week, which is good.

These photographs were taken in Nuuksio on March 14th and 15th, south of lake Suolikas.

(Posting title is from the poem Why Poetry Cannot Be Skimmed by Jessica Jopp.)

"thank you!". -so much beauty.. and variety.. -fantastic!

and enjoyed learning about the Finnish easter witches..

and it stood out to me this time around.. the photographs which include some reflection through water or glass.. or even shadow..

vs. the photographs absent any reflection..

-stories in there...

Happy Easter! blessings!

Thanks! Now that water is once again flowing and gathering into ditches, ponds and lakes, there are plenty of opportunities for capturing reflections.
