The many I have rejected in self-defence

Today I attended a meeting at National Defence University, which is a military site. You could take photographs, with some restrictions, but to be on the safe side I'm not going to post any of the photographs, even though they don't contain anything sensitive, just natural landscape. (It is a beautiful place.)

It is good that the children like to go for walks in the forests with me. We did so today, and thus here are some photographs from the Tremanskärr swamp (which is now flooded) and the forests there.

This morning we got some new snow, but it melted away straight away. And later today we got sunshine, which was good.

Here are some snowy photographs, so perhaps Ken will be pleased, as he was asking for snow yesterday.

(Posting title is from the poem The Poet Asks Forgiveness by Fay Zwicky.)

Looks like winter is finally loosening its grip in your area! :)

@Paul: Indeed, it is feeling like spring, with the first spring flowers. However, in some places there are still drifts of snow left.
