My youngest daughter wanted to go skiing, and we had a little tour of the neighbourhood. There is about 20 cm of snow on the ground, except in some places where the wind has swept most of the snow away. Not many people had been skiing, we saw only one other ski track.
Around sunset (which comes early as length of day is now 6 h 18 min) I went for a walk in the forests nearby. There were paths where people had walked, and a lot to see. The fresh snow really brightens the landscape.
