On the Finnish independence day, December 6th, I went with my oldest daughter for a walk in the Luukki forests, walking to lake Hauklampi and around the lake and back from there.
We started just before sunset, and when we returned it started to get dark, and the "blue moment" was upon us. There was about 20 cm of snow on the ground, and that was enough to get a real feeling of winter.
