Pictures shall as softly look

On December 10th it was dark outside, no snow on the ground. The wind was strong, in gusts. I went for a walk after sunset, to a nearby pond where some ducks spend the night.

All these photographs were taken handheld with the LX100, something that would have been impossible with the LX3/LX5. However, one had to wait for quieter spells between wind gusts, to avoid shaking the camera.

Yesterday I had three hours of exercise, which feels in the muscles. Today I'll take it more easy, a day of rest is needed.

(Posting title is from the poem The House of Rest by Julia Ward Howe.)
