Which would make puncture

On February 19th I walked in Vaakkoi. In some places the snow carried a person walking, but mostly not, so it was heavy going. I didn't meet anyone while walking. The camera lens got foggy all the time.

This morning I got a puncture in a tire, and had to return home. Fortunately I hadn't ridden the bicycle very far. I changed the inner tube, and then installed summer tires to the bicycle.

The studded winter tire (Nokian W106) which I had been using in the back, was so worn out that it isn't a surprise that I got punctures. Some of the studs had eaten away the inner lining of the tire, and there were also cracks in the rubber, which allowed small pieces of gravel to go through. I ordered a new studded tire, Nokian A10, which happened to be on discount, to be used next winter.

#3 and #4 are marvellous - such abstract signs in the landscape I really cherish.

Thanks! When it is heavily clouded, the winter landscape allows to see shapes which otherwise wouldn't be of interest. Maybe b&w treatment would be the way to go to emphasize the abstract on such days.

I also get tempted to try b&w from time to time, but then, I also love subtle color nuances.

And just think of the 'Helsinki Bus Stop Theory'. That should certainly speak to you as a photographer from Finland...

Thanks for "Helsinki Bus Stop Theory". Arno Minkkinen provides words of wisdom.
