The photographs were taken on May 5th at Sipoonkorpi.
Several mornings this week when I have gone to fetch the newspaper, there has been a thrush nightingale (Luscinia luscinia) in the garden, singing loudly. A couple of times I have got to 2-3 meter distance of the bird before it has changed location. Spring is quite advanced, Syringa is already in bloom.
