We went to see a 3D movie today, and I got a headache which seems to be sticking for a while. And the movie wasn't any good either. It may be a while until going to the movies again. I wonder how often people get a headache in 3D movies?

If the movie has been projected correctly, it's very uncommon to get an headache. If it has been projected wrongly (or your glasses were defective), it is almost guaranteed to get the headache. HTH, Dav
Juha, if #1 is to be gotten after a 3D movie, I will hurry to see one :)
In my hometown, the cinema is too small to shoulder the investment in 3D projection units, so I watched "Animals United" together with the kids in the non-3D version. But the film was uninteresting, so I am glad I didn't have to face a possible headache additionally to a sub-par movie experience.
@Davide: Both of us parents got a headache, but the children coped well. Might eyeglasses be to blame?
@Markus: Well, that one was taken before going to the movie - so no need to hurry to see one.
Our movie had also animals - cats and dogs - and was as unoriginal as a movie can be at worst. Well, maybe they some day get a clue and make a 3D movie which actually means something.
I have onlt seen 1 3-D movie and did not really like it... I am with you on that.
@Dwight: Well, it took a day or so to recover. Perhaps some day there is a 3D movie worth checking out. I hope they iron out the headache-causing problems.
