Full in the smile of the blue firmament

Here are photographs taken in Helsinki, taken while commuting. There will be more views from Helsinki in the future, as I'll work the next five months at the Ministry, getting involved with research data and research administration. It has been a bit blurry recently, which shows in the photographs.

Looking forward to see more Helsinki photos in the future. I like blue, place and snow. Did you take "blue" handheld (1/10)? Iso 500 looks quite OK.

greetings,
Hagen

@Hagen: Yes, these were all handheld.

"Branches" reminds me very much of my Helsinki visit probably 18 years ago. That December it was cold and snowy, and my first encounter with the cathedral was in similar light. Fond memories.

@Markus: It must have been good if you remember so well 18 years ago in Helsinki!

Today we got 15 cm of fresh snow on top of the old, it is becoming like winter. But traffic was a mess.

It certainly was, even if leaving in a snowstorm was a bit scary.

The modern architecture I saw was impressive, especially the Kiasma museum building next to the Helsingen Sanomat's headquarters.

@Markus: We now have another big modern building nearby Kiasma and Sanomat, the new music hall. I like it better from the inside...
