On Saturday I rode the bicycle along a path which follows river Vantaanjoki, and there were several places where interesting stuff was to be seen. Alas, I had a schedule to keep, and only managed a couple of short stops to take photographs.
The biggest news item in Finland yesterday was that Microsoft buys Nokia's mobile phone unit. This has of course been speculated since Elop started as CEO of Nokia, and now the deal has been done. At one point Nokia dominated global mobile phone market, but no more.
Well, I guess my Nokia E7 phone will stay in working order for quite some time still, it seems rather durable even though there isn't much else to recommend it for.
