What next we look for at your hand

Somehow I got a craving for snow, or at least photographs of snow. So here are some, taken on November 29th in Meiko, testing out a path marked with green signs, which I hadn't checked out before. It was a great thing to see the white landscape, and for most of the route I was the first to be walking on the snow.

(Posting title is from the poem The Answer by Anne Finch.)

Great shots, especially like the first one, but too bad about the green trail blaze... but that is reality which is not bad.

Thanks, John. I guess they put the green trail blazes in trees which are prominently visible - but at least green is better than yellow or red.

Wonderful graphics, Juha, and they make me feel how much I miss real snow.

Thanks, Markus! I'm missing snow as well - today we got so much rain that the streets were flooded. Doesn't feel like winter at all.
