The photographs were taken at Oittaa on December 28th. Today I went to Oittaa once again, and walked there for 2 1/2 hours, visiting lake Sorlampi. There is 10-30 cm of snow on the ground, and I took some shortcuts between the paths. The weather is warmer, -9 °C, and on the lake there was water under the snow on top of the ice, and in some places it seemed that holes had appeared in the ice.

and when asked what he missed about being on earth, astronaut Scott kelly said, "just being able walk outside.."
yes. -so many miracles write outside our doors
blessings!
Thank you.
The change of seasons provides lots of things to learn, and to relearn. This rock face with the icicles was a new find, and a place worth visiting again, to see how it looks the next year.
