The photographs were taken in Helsinki on December 17th.
This morning I walked for two hours in Vaakkoi, circling around three lakes: Vähä Majalampi, Majalampi and Mylly-Majalampi. I didn't see anyone, not even a dog. And there were only a couple of cars on the road, mainly taxis and buses. The swamps are a little bit wet still, but otherwise the ground is frozen. There is about 5 cm of ice on the lakes, and it probably carries a person, but I didn't take any shortcuts, to be safe.
