One of the aspects of having a camera with you is the possibility of looking everyday things from a new perspective. Yesterday night I put my camera on top of a fence, with the lens pointing upwards, and used the self-timer to take a photo of trees lighted by lamps from below.
I like the shapes of bare trees, and here they are not silhouttes but instead almost white (well, yellowish) against the night sky. And there are also start visible in the night sky. And unfortunately also some sensor noise - I should perhaps have used ISO 80 or 100, but instead used 200.
Today it is once again raining, so I'm not sure whether I'll do any photography. Perhaps read a book instead.
