When there are no leaves

Branches, originally uploaded by jiihaa.

Although it is darker and much less colorful this time of the year, there are compensations. Trees present their shapes openly to the world, without extra wrapping on them. And thus there are plenty of opporturnities for photography. Today we had a nice sunset, and various kinds of trees showed their shapely branches to the viewer.

Thanks. The LX3 is an inspiring tool. You shouldn't put too much emphasis on the equipment, but the best current compacts (LX3, G10, P6000) are first-class tools for photographers. It is nice to have a camera which fits into a pocket but can do well in challenging situations.
